An identity built to reflect two people.

This wedding identity spanned the invitation collateral, wedding event collateral, and the reception, touching every piece of printed material and influencing the choices made for photography, floral, and decoration.

The invite collateral were done with several unique design features.

The paper was hand-chosen cotton paper with a stippling effect, and overlaying the hand-tied package was a semi-transparent rice paper with “Get Excited” printed on top.

The hero text and symbol on the main invite were set in gold foil, and the text bled off the edge of the page – a first for the printer handling the files.

Light blue envelopes stamped with the event date were filled with lavender for guests the throw as the newly-weds left down the aisle at the end of the wedding.

The envelopes were hand-lined with Japanese origami paper found at The Paper Place in Toronto – each sheet is unique.

An Instagram tag was chosen (#effyeahkidmans), distributed in the invites, and shown on a wedding website. Table place cards were also created for the reception. I worked with the photographer and the venues to ensure the wedding had a cohesive aesthetic from start to finish, without taking away from the event for those participating and enjoying in the wedding.
